As we continue to broaden the HAC’s impact away from the pitch, we have partnered with Toynbee Hall. The charity, based in the heart of the East End since 1884, assists local people not only in times of crisis but also on a longer term basis. The team of residential and part-time volunteers give over 4,000 hours per annum; training and supporting members of the community to attain skills and knowledge, empowering them to more readily seize opportunities.

As well as being local to the HAC, the charity has personal links with the club too. Our very own veteran 2nd XV prop, Ben Campion, has been Toynbee Hall’s Commercial Manager for the last two years and has been instrumental in us choosing to support this organisation.
